What a year it has been for our farm! From our first plant sale to our pop-up events, we’ve seen tremendous growth and forged new connections in our community. It all kicked off with a successful Plant Sale and Open House, welcoming many new faces eager to start their own garden journeys. Then, we hosted two pop-up events with our favourite Pizzeria and Gelato Restaruant in Little Italy, Farinella; two more with the Aurelius Fine Oils and Balsamic Vinegars in Wellington West, where we showcased our seasonal vegetables and specialty items like locally sourced balsamic vinegars. Each event was a wonderful opportunity to meet new clients, share our passion for farm-to-table produce, and bring a little of the farm into your homes.
One highlight of the year was our 14-week Farm Basket program. These baskets were packed with fresh, hand-picked produce and sent out to more new clients than ever before. In addition to the produce, Brennan’s recipe cards became a hit!
They added an extra touch, giving people creative ways to use what was in their baskets. Hearing how much everyone enjoyed making meals with our farm-to-table ingredients was deeply rewarding.
In addition to all of this, we were thrilled to be featured in a local radio interview with Mario Carlucci on CBC radio. This opportunities helped us share our story even further and reach new customers who care about fresh, local, and sustainable food.
As we close out the year, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who has supported our farm, attended our events, and embraced the joy of fresh, local produce. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
