Our farm stand will be showcasing a delicious Caprese Orecchiette Pasta Salad with our cherry tomatoes and fresh basil, perfectly paired with Aurelius Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Aurelius Balsamico Modena 3 Year. This light and refreshing salad is a celebration of summer’s bounty and the unique, nuanced flavours of high-quality olive oil & balsamic vinegar.
Caprese Orecchiette Pasta Salad with Aurelius fine Olive Oil & Balsamic vinegar.

8 ounces orecchiette pasta
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup bocconcini or mozzarella balls, drained and halved
A handful of fresh basil leaves, torn
3 tablespoons Aurelius Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Aurelius Balsamico Modena
3 YearSalt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Cook the orecchiette pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked orecchiette pasta, cherry tomatoes, bocconcini, and basil leaves.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the Aurelius Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Aurelius Balsamico Modena 3 Year. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss gently to combine. If desired, sprinkle with toasted pine nuts for added texture.
- Let the salad sit for about 15 minutes to allow the flavours to meld together.
